Why We Support SickKids

Our commitment is rooted in real-life experiences that have touched our hearts forever.

Over 20 years ago, Angie’s cousin’s young son was diagnosed with leukemia at just 4 years old. What followed was an incredibly difficult journey with months of intensive chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and countless moments no family should ever have to endure.

During this time, the team at SickKids Hospital proved to be nothing short of extraordinary. From the world-class medical care to the emotional support provided through family programs and community groups, their dedication extended far beyond treatment, they cared for the entire family.

Today, we are beyond grateful to share that this remarkable young man is 25 years old, in great health, and building a successful career as an engineer with a renowned automobile corporation in the United States.

A true testament to the life-changing impact of SickKids.

Supporting Local Kids in Aurora

In support of the All Kids Can Play Program in Aurora, we are proud to have contributed $10,000 to date.

Since January 2020,The MEandANG Team has been a committed supporter of this incredible initiative, contributing through our referral program and real estate transactions.

This program plays a vital role in helping financially disadvantaged children participate in sports because physical activity is essential to both mental and physical development. Without support, many children face social isolation and sedentary lifestyles.

Now in its 10th year, Sport Aurora’s All Kids Can Play Program has already helped over 300 children get off the sidelines and into the game. However, the need is growing. As families continue to face financial challenges, especially following the pandemic, more children than ever will require assistance and funding sources are limited.

Sport is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Every child deserves the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive.

Together, we can ensure no child in Aurora is left on the sidelines.
